Police in a drive arrested an accused in double murder cases from a slum located in S Alam Super Mill area under Karnaphuli thana early on Tuesday.
The arrested was identified as M Rubel, 30, hailed from the same thana. Inspector of Police Bureau Investigation (PBI) Abu Jafar M Omar Faruk said acting on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a drive in the area around 1:00am and arrested Rubel after five years of the charge-sheet. Rubel is an accused in double murder cases.
