Mamun Bepari of Pabna Samsung H Chowdhury Tennis Club clinched the both man’s singles and doubles title of the AIUB Victory Day Tennis competition that concluded on Thursday at National Tennis Court Complex in Ramna.
Mamun beat Alamgir Hossain of Nordic Club in man’s singles final while he pairing with Sheikh Hasibul Haque of Satkhira Tennis Club won the man’s doubles title.
Amal Roy of Engineers Recreation Club and Anwar Hosain of Samsung H Chowdhury Pabna pair finished runners-up in the event.
On the other hand, Eshita Afroz of BKSP also clinched both women’s singles and doubles events. She beat Afrana Islam Pretty in the women’s singles final and pairing with her teammate Poppy Akter won the women’s doubles title defeating Afrana Islam and Jolly Akter of BKSP in the final.
Jewel Rana of Elite Tennis Club clinched the boys’ singles under-16 year title beating M Ishtiak of BKSP in the final.
M Emon Islam of Jafar Emam Tennis Complex clinched the boys’ singles under-14 year title defeating Sohel of Engineering Recreation Club in the final.
Alvi of National Tennis Complex (NTC) clinched the boys’ singles under-12 year title defeating his teammate Sayan Shahid in the final. Mashfia Arfin clinched the girls’ singles under-12 year title beating Sadia Afrin of BKSP in the final.
Besides, Adnan of Jafar Imam Tennis Complex, Amin of Elite Tennis Academy (ETA) and Riyan Sheikh of ETA finished first, second and third position respectively in the boys’ singles under-10 year event.
Prottasha Das of Jafar Imam Tennis Complex, Rajshahi, Tultul of NTC and Kona of Elite Tennis Academy finished first, second and third position respectively in the girls singles under-10 year event.
Sajib Mollah and Sajib Hossain of ETA and Siyam of Jafar Imam Tennis Complex, Rajshahi finished first, second and third position respectively in the boys’ singles under-10 year event.
