Under the ‘Dhaka Environmentally Sustainable Water Supply Project’ (DESWSP), Dhaka WASA has rehabilitated the affected people. Recently by the rehabilitate of affected people unofficially this project has inaugurated at Gandharbapur in Rupgonj, Narayanganj.
Dhaka WASA and Non Governmental Organisation Development Organisation of the Rural Poor (DORP) have distributed cheque to the affected people. In the programme including a total 50 non-titled people including 2 women have granted of the project’s section four. Highest Tk 7.83 lakh have got affected Shajahan Fakir and minimum Tk 5.8 thousand got Mojibur Rahman. Total Tk 1,1,08,09,52 has been distributed.
Presided over by project director Engineer Mahmudul Islam while Dhaka WASA’s director was present as Chief Guest. Implementer NGO DORP’s Executive Chief AHM Noman and from the sufferer Md Delower Hossain and Shahinul Islam spoke on the occasion.
