The High Court (HC) has ordered the authority concerned not to distribute Vitamin A capsules without clinical test.
A HC vacation bench comprising of Justice Sheikh Hassan Arif and Abu Taher Mohammad Saiful Rahman passed the order on a suo moto on Wednesday afternoon.
The order came following a report published in a Bengali national daily regarding the distribution of Vitamin A capsules.
The court made the order to the authority concern including the Health
Secretary and the DG of the Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA).
The court also issued a rule asking why the distribution work of red and blue Vitamin A capsules should not be declared illegal.
