Player of Bangladesh National Football team Nasir Uddin Chowdhury said, ” Domestic football competitions are necessary for the betterment of country’s football. If the local competitions will be continued without any interruption, the footballers of Bangladesh National Football team and the booters of age group will not face any problem.”
Nasir said, ” A good number of footballers, who have started their football career in the domestic leagues, get chances to play in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football, Bangladesh Championship League (BCL), Federation Cup, First Division Football League, Second Division Football League and Third Division Football League.”
Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, the defender of Bangladesh National Football team expressed his thought about Bangladesh’s football in a video message on Friday.
He said, “I hope the country’s all districts or District Football Associations (DFA) s will take the initiatives to stage domestic leagues. If they start first division, second division and pioneer leagues in their respective districts, I think we’ll get more players. More players means more competitions and these competitions will give us more good players.”
“At the end of their mission, our country and national teams will be benefited. Footballers will also be benefited; they will get chances to play in BPL and BCL. Many good teams, clubs are getting involved in BPL, players are getting the handsome amount of money by playing in BPL. These are inspiring our young players. They want to come up, want to play good football.” Nasir concluded.
