Legendary actress Dolly Zahur and popular actress Deepa Khondoker worked together in roles of mother and daughter in many plays. It was also happened that when they went to travel together many person thought they are mother and daughter in real life. For this reason, they were seemed like mother-daughter to the viewers. Last year in golden jubilee of Bangladesh Television, Dolly and Deepa worked together in a play for the last time. After a break, they again worked together in a telefilm.
Directed by Monir Hossain Jibon Dolly and Deepa worked together in a telefilm titled Tumi Eley Tai. The telefilm will be aired on Channel i today.
While talking about the telefilm Dolly Zahur told this correspondent, “I have liked story of the telefilm. Therefore, I agreed to work because I was informed that Deepa was my co-actress. She is like my daughter. She has acted in role of my daughter in many plays. I always feel it. I hope viewers will enjoy the telefilm.”
Deepa Khondoker shared her feelings by this way, “Dolly Apa is like my mother. I couldn’t remember when I first worked with her. But we worked together in many times. In fact, I enjoy working with yesteryears’ actors. I have really enjoyed working with her in this telefilm.”
