Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club recorded their third victory in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPDCL) beating Brothers Union Club by six wickets held on Saturday at theBangladesh Krira Shiksha Protishthan (BKSP)-4 ground in Savar.
A solid 82-run opening stand by Liton Das (43) and Imtiaz Hossain (39) before Fazle Mahmud and Marshall Ayub added another 83-run for the third wicket that took Doleshwar towards the facile target of to 215 runs set by Brothers Union Club.
Mahmud top scored with 73 off 80 balls which included seven fours and two sixes. He also starred with the ball, taking three for 49 from nine overs of left-arm spin.
All-rounder Ryan ten Doeschate also bagged three wickets as Brothers Union were restricted at 214 in 46.5 overs, after they were forced to bat first by Doleshwar.
Mizanur Rahman top scored with 71 runs off 79 balls, an innings that studded nine boundaries and two over boundaries.
