Doleshwar beat Mohammedan

Raqibul Hasan’s unbeaten 86 helped Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club notch an emphatic seven-wicket victory against Mohammedan Sporting Club in the super-six match of the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium on Saturday.
Including this win, Doleshwar earned 16 points from 13 matches, having eight wins and five losses and stay in the 4th slot.
Replying bottom-placed Mohammedan SC 213, Doleshwar secured the win scoring 214 for 7 in 48 overs riding on the unbeaten 4th wicket stand of 79 in 12.5 overs between Raqibul Hasan and Nasir Hossain.
The 4th pair started from135/3 in 35.1 overs and stayed till the end to reach winning score.
Raqibul faced 127 balls to hit five boundaries and one six on the way to not out 86.
Nasir, who was adjudged man of the match, added 52 off 40 balls that included four boundaries and two sixes.
Faisal Hossain, Habibur Rahman and Enamul Haque Jr took one wicket each for Mohammedan.
Earlier, opening bat first after winning the toss, Mohammedan lost all their wickets for a moderate 213 in 49 overs.
Shykat Ali scored 51 off 76 balls with four boundaries while number-6 batsman Ariful Haque was another notable scorer with 48 off 61 balls with three boundaries.
Rejaul Karim, Rahatul Ferdous, Nasir Hossain and Sunzamul Islam took two wickets each for Doleshwar.
