DoE operates drive and fined Tk 33, 92, 909 across the country

The Department of Environment’s (DoE) Monitoring and Enforcement Wing have operated drive to reduce the pollution and conservation of environment across the country.
The drives were engineered on September 11to15 and that time DoE fined various businessmen, organizations and vehicles of Tk 33, 92, 909.
On September 11, DoE drives in Dhaka, Narayangonj, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chandpur, Lazmipur and Rangamati headed by Mohammad Masud Hasan Patwari, Director (Monitoring and Enforcement). During the operation he has fined Tk 32, 42, 109.
On September 12, Executive Magistrate Nowrin Haque has operated drive in the capital’s Tikatuli area on account of vehicles horn and
fined Tk 4000 to 10 drivers. At the same day Executive Magistrate Kazi Tamzid Ahamed operated drive at Savar and seized 302 kg Polythene Bag from two shops and fined Tk 20, 000.
On September 13, Executive Magistrate Fayzunnesa Akter operated drive at Rayerbag and seized 1250kg Polythene Bag from four stalls and fined Tk 17, 000 and Executive Magistrate Kazi Tamzid Ahamed operated drive at Feni in two brick kilns and fined Tk 1, 00, 000.
 On September 14, Executive Magistrate Kazi Tamzid Ahamed operated drive at Khilgoen and fined Tk 5,000 for keeping building materials on road scatter.
On September 15, Executive Magistrate Nowrin Haque has operated drive in the capital’s Tikatuli area on account of vehicles horn and fined 15 drivers Tk 4, 800.
