In a drive of the Department of Environment in the port city recovered 2.5 tons polythene bags and other poly products from Chaktai area on Thursday.
Deputy Director of DOE, Chattogram Miah Mahmudul Hoque led the drive in Rajakhali areas of Chaktai business hub of the city.
These polythenes recovered from the godown of Shafiul Azam and the owner of the godown asked to appear before the DOE court on September 8 next.
