Health and Family Welfare Minister Muhammad Nasim urged doctors and others concerned to perform their duties with utmost sincerity and honesty to ensure healthcare at the doorstep of rural and marginal people.
Rural and marginal people are dependent on public hospitals for emergency health problems and the present government is committed to reach healthcare services to them, he said this on the twenty first instant while addressing a views-exchange meeting at the conference hall of Chest Disease Hospital in Rajshahi.
The Health Minister said the government, led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, is sincerely working to ensure healthcare to all.
Fazley Hossain Badsha, MP, Zila Parishad Chairman Muhammad Ali Sarker, Divisional Director of Health Dr Anisur Rahman and Vice-Chancellor of Rajshahi Medical University Prof Masum Habib attended the meeting.
