A doctor and a staffer of Kuwait Bangladesh Friendship Government Hospital have tested Covid-19 positive, hospital sources have confirmed Wednesday.
The doctor is from the alternative medicine section while the staffer is an office assistant.
As they had been showing coronavirus-like symptoms for a couple of days, their samples were collected and sent to the IEDCR on Monday, a doctor at the hospital said.
The test results came positive yesterday, the doctor
wishing not to be named said.
Dr Sarwarul Alam, director of the hospital confirmed that a doctor and a staffer have tested Covid-19 positive.
Around 60 doctors and consultants and 85 nurses along with some other staffers have been treating Covid-19 patients in the hospital.
