The launch of DOCEH will be formally communicated at the Daffodil International Symposium on Hospitality, an online event to be held on 10th September 2020.
The symposium will be opened by Mr Sabur Khan, Chairman of DIU, who will outline why the university has taken the decision to prioritise hospitality and culinary arts education. An array of distinguished contributors from academia, industry and government will discuss issues relevant to the formation of DOCEH, including how to achieve excellence in the delivery of higher education; the impact of covid on the global hospitality industry; and the promotion of Bangladesh around the world, on the basis of its rich and distinctive culinary culture.
All these were informed in a “Virtual Meet the Press ” held on Wednesday at the university face book page where Professor Dr. S M Mahabub-Ul Haque Majumder, Acting Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University was in the chair.
