Diseassions doa mahfil were held on Friday after Jumma in memory of BNP leaders of different levels residing in Ghagtia Union of Kapasia Upazila of Gazipur. Kapasia BNP Guardian Shah Riazul Hannan Riaz was present as the chief guest at the mahfil meeting for the forgiveness of the souls of all the late leaders and workers including the late Brigadier General (retd) ASM Hannan Shah, a member of the BNP Standing Committee.
Discussions and prayers were held in memory of the deceased including local BNP leaders Abdur Rashid Member, Benazir Ahmed Manzil, Hafiz Uddin and Juba Dal leader Asaduzzaman Arun at a prayer program organized by Khirati BNP and its affiliates at Manik Bazar in Ghagtia Union of the upazila. BNP leader and former UP chairman Borhan Uddin Nannu, BNP leader and former UP chairman Abdur Rashid, BNP leader Shaheen Bandukshi, convener of Upazila Juba Dal Faridul Alam Bhulu and others were present under the chairmanship of Union BNP president Monirul Haque Chan Miah and general secretary Harun Aur Rashid Majhi. Member- Secretary Junaid Hossain Lyon, Ghagtia Union Juba Dal President Mamunur Rashid, General Secretary Liton Mia, Durgapur Union Juba Dal President Masum Sarkar, Juba Dal leader Sharif Fakir, Hiron Badsha, Akram Hossain, Upazila Chhatra Dal convener Imran Hossain Shishir, Member Secretary Zahidul Islam and others.
Earlier, after Jumma, prayers were offered in the courtyard of Shah Riazul Hannan Riaz’s house in the courtyard of his house, thanking God Almighty for his immediate recovery.
