Doa Mahfil held to pray for Bangabandhu

On the occasion of the 45th day of the Father of the Nation, Ishwardi Upazila Press Club and National Journalists Society organised a seminar and Doa mahfil titled “Bangabandhu and Bangladesh” in the hall room of Ishwardi Upazila Press Club on Monday night.
Speaking as the chief guest, President of National Journalists Society Torture Prevention Cell, General Secretary of Lawyers Council, Legal Secretary of Ishwardi Upazila Awami League and former PP of Pabna Judge Court Adv. Akhtaruzzaman Mukta. Former General Secretary of Bangladesh Workers Union and General Secretary of Pabna Sugar Mills CBA Ashrafuzzaman Ujjal and Ishwardi Municipal Women Councilor Farida Parveen spoke as special guests. Ishwardi Upazila Press Club and National Journalists Society President Touhid Akhter Panna presided over the function, among others, Bipul Joardar, Asaduzzaman Ashrafuzzaman, AA Azad Hannan, GM Dolan, Mojibur Rahman.
The speakers pledged to make Bangabandhu’s creation a non-communal Bangladesh into a complete golden Bengal. Later, special prayers were offered for the souls of all the martyred family members including Bangabandhu.
