The city based journalists of Rangunia upazila under the banner of Rangunia Journalists Alliance arranged a Doa Mahfil on the office premises of Ekushey Patrika at Jamal Khan in the port city on Wednesday . Maulana Jahirul Islam conducted the Doa mahfil. A mong others, convenor of the Alliance and Editor of Ekhushey Patrika Azad Talukder, member-secretary Waliur Rahman, senior reporter Tapash Barua, journalists Suresh Kumar, Kanchan Mahajan, Kakon Dev, and Abdul Ali were present on the occasion.
Editor Azad Talukder said Info Minister is the guardian of the working journalist irrespective of caste and creed. We pray for his early recovery from his illness. Mentionable that following the medical test of Info Minister at IEDCR, Dr. Hasan Mahmud was detected Corona virus and now he is under treatment at Bangabandhu Medical University Hospital in the capital. Member-secretary of the journalists Alliance Waliur Rahman thanked all for attending the doa mahfil. Maulana Jahirul Islam conducted munajat of the mahfil seeking early recovery of Dr. Hasan Mahmud from Covid-19.
