Atiqul Islam, mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), said a regional crash program has been launched from March 8 to eradicate Culex mosquitoes.
The DNCC mayor said this while inaugurating the Shahid Jayan Chowdhury Ground at Banani in the capital on Saturday morning. He added that mosquito eradication campaign will continue for 10 consecutive days from March 8 in each region of DNCC.
DNCC mayor also urged the people to keep the doors and windows of their houses closed during the crash program in their area.
