Dhaka North City Corporation on Tuesday started a crush programme to eliminate mosquitoes in winter.
DNCC Chief Executive Officer Mesbahul Islam inaugurated the programme on the Manik Mia Avenue in the city.
DNCC Zone-5 Executive Officer SM Oziur Rahman, Health Officer Dr. Muhammad Emdadul Haque and Assistant Waste Management Officer Mafizur Rahman,
among others, were present.
The officials of the Corporation said that the programme would continue till December 4. The DNCC will increase its fogging machine drives during this programme.
