Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) as part of Urban Primary Health Care Service Delivery Project has introduced telemedicine services through its five maternity hospitals to facilitate proper information and health care services for the Covid -19 patients from today.
In order to provide smooth telemedicine services, three doctors were deputed round the clock in each maternity hospital to facilitate the service.
This telemedicine service will be available from 8 am from Friday till further notice.
The telephone numbers of the maternity hospitals designated for providing telemedicine services are as follows – Nari Moitri ( Noyatola, Moghbazar)-58314933, Nari Moitri( Bashbari, Mohammadpur)- 01311946432, Dhaka Ahsania Mission (Nakibaritek, Bordhon Bari), Horirampur Road, Mirpur-1)- 01301596839, Nagar Matrisadan (J-2 / A, Bordhito Pallabi, Mirpur)-01770722194 and PA-5, UTPS(House-11, Road-11, Sector-6, Uttara)- 01314766545.
DNCC Mayor Atiqul Islam urged the city residents to get the telemedicine services related to Covid-19 complications by dialing aforesaid telephone numbers.
