Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) conducted an eviction drive in Mirpur-1, Shah Ali Mazar Gate and Sony Cinema Hall areas of the city on Monday and demolished about 350 illegal structures. Starting around 11:30 am, the drive led by DNCC Executive Magistrate Sajid Anwar continued till 3pm.
Aslamul Haque, MP, Mayor in-Charge of DNCC Md Jamal Mostafa, Ward Councilor Tipu Sultan and Regional Executive Officer Gullal Singh were present during the drive.
