The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has conducted eviction drive in Uttara on Monday to remove illegal structures, signboards, banners, festoons and street vendors from the footpath.
Executive Magistrate Julkar Nayon led the
mobile court at 11:00am to 2:00pm in Uttara sector-3 area. The Executive Magistrate also fined Tk 20,000 BTI and Natore Tower for keeping construction materials on the road and footpath.
He also warned some shops, structures and car driver for business continue by grabbing footpath and car parking in the area.
“No one will be allowed to do business occupying footpaths and roads causing sufferings to the public,” said the Magistrates Julkar Nayon.
The drive against illegal encroachers will continue, he added.
