Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Volleyball team (Men’s & Women’s) became champions in the Bangladesh Police Volleyball Competition at the premises of the Shaheed SI Shiru Mia Auditorium in Rajarbag Police Lines on Sunday.
In the Men’s Division, DMP team emerged as the champions beating Dhaka Range Police team in the final. Dhaka Range Police team finished runners-up.
In the Women’s Division, DMP team became champions defeating Sylhet Metropolitan Police team in the final. Sylhet Metropolitan Police team finished runners-up.
Nurun Nabi of DMP team was adjudged the best player of the Men’s Division, while Sabina Yesmin of DMP team was adjudged the best player of the Women’s Division.
Inspector General of Bangladesh Police AKM Shahidul Haque distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
