Traffic division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in their simultaneous drives on the city streets on Friday filed 3,046 cases against different modes of vehicles for traffic rule violation. It also realized around Taka 10.07 lakh as fine for traffic rule violation, said an official press release.
Of the total cases, 287 cases were lodged for driving on wrong sides, 58 for using hydraulic horn, 10 for using hotter and beckon light and 17 others for using tinted glass.
