Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Md Shafiqul Islam on Thursday provided financial assistance for the treatment of 100 injured and sick policemen.
He handed over the grants among the police personnel, who were injured while performing professional duties, at DMP headquarters.
Additional Commissioners Mir Rezaul Alam, Krishna Pad Roy, Md Munibur Rahman, chief of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime Unit Md Asaduzzaman, and other senior officials were present at the event.
