Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Monday imposed a ban on flying any unapproved remote controlled devices or drone in the capital’s sky.
No drone or remote control devices will be allowed to fly in the sky of the capital without the permission of Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB), said a press release, signed by DMP commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia.
“Some people or groups are flying drones over the capital’s sky for recreation or capturing photo or unknown reasons without taking permission of the authority concerned.
