DMCH gets two high-flow nasal cannula machines

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam on Wednesday donated two high-flow nasal cannula machines from his personal fund to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for the treatment of coronavirus patients.
Two more such kind of apparatus would be provided to the DMCH from the personal fund of the State Minister soon, a Foreign Ministry press release said.
The machines, exported from Australia, would be used to supply oxygen to the critical coronavirus positive patients.
DMCH Director Brigadier General AKM Nasir Uddin received the machines from the state minister’s younger brother Md Saiful Alam at the hospital.
Earlier, Shahriar Alam donated three ventilators to the police hospital for treatment of the coronavirus positive police personnel, the release added.
