The 15-day Divisional Tree Fair was inaugurated by the District Administration and Social Forest Department of Rangpur at Rangpur District School Ground on Sunday at 5 pm.
Divisional Commissioner Md. Abdul Wahab Bhuya inaugurated the fair as the Chief Guest. Deputy Commissioner Asib Ahsan will preside over it. District Awami League President Md. Momtaz Uddin Ahmed, General Secretary Adv. Rezaul Karim Raju, Metropolitan Awami League President Safiar Rahman Sofi and General Secretary Tushar Kanti Mondal. Divisional Forest Officer Md. Matlubur Rahman, Rangpur Range Officer Mosharf Hossain etc. spoke on the occasion. There were 60 nursery stalls including Satta Nursery, Sami Hi-Tech Agro, Arnyak.
The tree fair will continue till the 2nd of August.
