Late President Zillur Rahman 1st Division Cricket league will be formally inaugurated on Saturday (March 24) at Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Stadium in Kishoreganj, four days before start of the league match.
A total of 31 matches, including four quarter-finals, two semifinals and final, will be held where 16 teams, split into four groups, will compete in the meet, a press release said.
Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hasan Papon, MP, and Rezwan Ahmad, MP, are expected to present in the inauguration ceremony.
Ace all rounder Shakib Al Hasan, bowling sensation Mustafizur Rahman, Kishoreganj District Sports Association officials, political leaders and administrative officers will also present in the inauguration ceremony.
Kishoreganj Deputy Commissioner M Sarowar Morshed Chowdhury will preside over the inauguration ceremony, organized by Kishoreganj District Sports Association.
