The Green Delta Insurance Second Division Hockey League will begin on June 15 at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.
Bangladesh Hockey Federation will arrange the 13-day long hockey meet under auspices of Green Delta Insurance Company Limited.
A total of nine teams will participate in the hockey competition. They are: PWD Sports Club, Dilkusha SC, Tejgaon Agragami Club, Raktim Sangha, Dhaka Young Star Club, Dhaka Hockey Club, Rayer Bazar SC, East End Green Club and Udity Club.
Marking the forthcoming hockey meet, a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangladesh Hockey Federation on Wednesday.
Secretary of the Second Division Hockey League Committee Md Monwar Hossain disclosed all the matters related to the hockey meet.
The hockey competition will be held on single league basis. The highest point achiever will be the champions of the hockey league.
The budget of the competition has been estimated at Tk 4,25,000.
The champions will be awarded Tk 20,000 while the runners-up will get Tk 15,000.
