Team SOTEJ and Team SORBOJOYA of Daffodil International University (DIU) have achieved Runner-up position and received Social Business Concept Award respectively at Social Business Creation (SBC) competition held in Canada. The Competition was held at HEC Montreal, Canada recently where 33 teams out of 98 teams from 15 countries joined this World Final of SBC competition. The impressive performance leads the DIU teams for taking 2 positions within the top 7.
The winning team members of SOTEJ are Nahid Arman of Business Administration department and Johora Akter Polin, Rawnak Jahan Juthi and Shajjadul Haque of CSE department. Dr Mai Thi Thanh Thai, Director, Social Business Creation, HEC Montreal, Canada handed over the Award to Nahid Arman and Johra Akter Polin of team SOTEJ at a colorful ceremony.
The winning team members of SORBOJOYA are: Meghla Akter Mitu of Department of English, Mahfuz Islam of Textile Engineering Department and Md. Ashik Iqbal of CSE department.
