Campus Report :

Students, Faculty members and employees of Daffodil International University (DIU) have come forward and extended their helping hands to cooperate the flood affected people of North Bengal of the country. They distributed relief ingredient like rice, oil, biscuit, oral saline, pure drinking water, water purification tablets, medicines, CI Sheet for home building and packets of dry and cooked foods among 4000 families in flood affected areas of Dinajpur, Kurigram and Nilphamary districts recently under the program of titled ” Heart for Humanity”.  
Under the direct supervision of the university authority three volunteers team along with research team also moved to the different regions to collect data and to celebrate Eid festival along with the flood affected people. At that time they also distributed some rehabilitation materials and provided psychological therapy among the flood affected people.
Zayim Bin Tazdid, a student of DIU informed that three volunteers group comprised with students and faculty members just after semester final examination they have gone out to North Bengal’s flood-hit areas for helping the flood affected people. They did it as the part of their human and moral responsibility to stand beside flood affected people and that’s why without any hesitation, they went to flood affected areas with relief materials.
Another student Ishrat Jahan Ritu said that distributing relief among flood affected people is a part of our social responsibility and belongs to extra curriculum activities of our academic activities. To perform this responsibility we raised a relief fund and our faculty members and employees donated their one day salary in the fund and they came to this affected area.
