Daffodil International University (DIU) on Monday launched a helicam, a remote-controlledmini helicopter, at Kalabagan Playground in the city. Helicam is used to obtain aerial pictures or motion images using video, still or motion film cameras.
A team of students from Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) Department, led by Hasib Mahmud, produced the helicam, a DIU press release said.
The helicam, without a pilot, flew in the sky for 10 minutes around 1 pm over the playground.
