DIU with the help of Cisco Networking Academy through this project, has taken an initiative to train up a large number of students and professionals from some selected areas of ICT and networking for a better and more effective career.
This project aims to increase employment and awareness on ICT and networking among the students of remote areas of the country.
Cisco, a world renowned networking academy actively supports the principles and programs of “Digital Bangladesh”. Cisco has been playing a vital role in training and creating network professions in the country through their Academy, a sister organization of Daffodil International University, for the last few years. But still an over whelming majority of the people of remote areas of the country has remained deprived of access to ICT education. Cisco and the Cisco Foundation provide cash, products, and people to support organizations with scalable, replicable, and sustainable solutions that use Internet and network technology to benefit individuals and communities around the world.
Bangladesh is a fast growing country in ICT field in the world. Now a day, Digital Bangladesh is a buzzword of this country. In order to tackle the issue of lack of ICT and networking professionals in the country, Cisco has taken up a project to train and motivate students/professionals to improve the ICT and networking skills and this project will work in line with the program of implementing the dream of “Digital Bangladesh” and “vision 2021”.
