He also predicted that an unprecedented revolution in the use of artificial intelligence and telecommunications will be held.
Praising Bangladesh at the time, the Nobel laureate physicist said that Bangladesh is making incredible progress in information technology. There is no doubt that this country will also improve in the basic branches of science. Organizing such international seminars is a really difficult task. UGC has done that hard work quite heroically. He thanked UGC for this.
Dr. Md. Sabur Khan said to his presidential speech that the next world will be the world of materials. As time goes on, the use of artificial intelligence will increase, the use of robotics will increase, the use of telecommunication will increase. So from now on we have to increase our skills in these sectors. Otherwise, as a country, we will lag behind the rest of the world.
He also said that Daffodil family is trying its best to build Bangladesh as a digital country from its own capacity. From the beginning, Daffodil International University has been developed as a digital university.
The students of this university are given free laptops during their student life so that they get access to science and technology education and are motivated to do research in all fields of science.
It may be mentioned that the two-day International Conference on Fourth Industrial Revolution and Beyond (ICFORIR-2021) has started from today (December 10-11) at BangabandhuInternational Conference Center.
The Daffodil family has participated in this international conference as a gold sponsor. The conference was organized by the Bangladesh University Grants Commission (UGC) as part of the celebrations of the 100th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the 50th anniversary of Bangladesh’s independence. UGC believes that by organizing such seminars, Bangladeshi universities and researchers will build relationships with researchers from all over the world and create a better research and learning environment in Bangladesh.
