DIU Chairman at Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Croatia

Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil International University (DIU) and Daffodil Group represented Daffodil and Bangladesh in the grand event Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC)-2, held at Zagreb in Croatia on Monday.
The event was chaired by President of Croatia, Ivo Josipovic,. Among others, Milan Bandic, Mayor of the City of Zagreb, Croatia; Zdenka Loncar, Assistant Minister for International Cooperation, Investments and Innovation, Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Crafts, Croatia; Florin Jianu, Minister of SMEs, business and tourism, Romania; Kristina Koloska, Assistant Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia to the Republic of Croatia; Gordana Coric, Professor, VERN’ University Startup Incubator, Croatia; Gary Schoeniger, Founder of Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative and Director ‘The Mindset Project’, USA, Patrik Kovacs, President, JEUNE – Young Entrepreneurs’ Organization of the European Union; President FIVOSZ, Hungary; Ana Burica and Josipa Majic, Teddy the Guradian, Croatia, World winners of Creative Business Cup and Startup Open 2013 and many other successful entrepreneurs around the globe were also present.
In his vibrant presentation, Sabur Khan focused on entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship, Venture capital, startup, Angel investment, etc which was appreciated by the audience. In his discussion, he stated that, entrepreneurship education plays an important role in shaping a cultural mindset, enhancing entrepreneurial attitudes and skills for problem-solving.
Entrepreneurship education is always beyond any single classrooms. Several resources are available for any nation and entrepreneurship ecosystems to get more interested people to learn about entrepreneurial process.
The program opened up scope to flourish Daffodil and Bangladesh with many country representatives to build a large scale international networking and contacts.
