Dr Md. Sabur Khan, Founder and Chairman of Daffodil International University (DIU) and Daffodil Family gave speech at the 18th Arab Businessmen and Investors Conference held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Bahrain recently. Dr Khan made his presentation on “DIU Role in introducing Innovation and taking key initiatives towards facilitating Entrepreneurial Ecosystems- a case study”.
The theme of the panel discussion was Entrepreneurship in Education. The discussants were Simon Ngalomba (PhD), University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania; Ezekiel, Ayinde Alani (Ph.D), Department of Agricultural Economics, Ladoke Akintola, University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria; Paul Habinza, University of Ruwanda, Republic of Ruwanda Entrepreneurship and Investment; Dr Queeneth Omoyibo, Intellectual Property Technology Transfer Office (IPTTO), Igbindion University, Okada, Edo State, Nigeria; and Dr Samuel Igbatayo, UNESCO Chair on entrepreneurship education for sustainable development in agriculture at Afe Babalola University, Nigeria. Dr Faiza Mohamed Osman, Director East Africa regional office of the association of African universities, Sudan moderated the session.
