The 1st National Career Fair 2014 organised by the Career Development Center (CDC) of Daffodil International University (DIU) will be inaugurated today at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in the city.
A total of 10,000 participants (including 5000 registered graduates), more than 100 Corporate Houses, 20 leading public and private universities will took part in the fair.
Sabirul Islam, a Bangladesh origin world famous motivational speaker from UK is expected to inaugurate the fair aimed at creating an environment where new talents and employers can meet and exchange their views and values directly.
The day long fair includes spot interview, new job opening, resume appraisals, Career clinic with skills assessment test, entrepreneur’s guidance camp, Master Classes, panel discussions focused on jobs, entrepreneurship, self employment, women entrepreneurship, higher education, social business, young leader’s award, young entrepreneur’s award and many more.
