The 16th Syndicate meeting of Daffodil International University (DIU) was held on Wednesday at the Conference Room of the university’s Administrative Building. The meeting was presided over by the Chairman of the Syndicate and Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Dr Yousuf M Islam. Md. Abdullah Al Hasan Chowdhury, Additional Secretary (Audit and Law), Ministry of Education, who was nominated by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Prof Dr Gulshan Ara Latifa of University of Dhaka, who was nominated by UGC were present in the meeting. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, attended the Syndicate Meeting on a special invitation by Chairman of the Syndicate.
Among other members, Hamidul Haque Khan, Treasurer, Prof Dr SM Mahabub Ul Haque Majumder, Acting Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Engr AKM Fazlul Hoque, Registrar, Farhana Helal Mehtab, Head, Department of Law, Shahana Khan, Md. Emran Hossain and Md. Khorshed Alam Khan, Members, Board of Trustees of Daffodil International University were present in the syndicate meeting. Mominul Haque Majumder, Director (Finance and Accounts) and Dr Sheikh Abdul Kader Arafin, Associate Professor, Department of Natural Sciences were also present on special invitation of syndicate chairman.
