After staying in Canada for 15 days to pass time with her only son Dipto popular film actress and director Parvin Sultana Diti has returned to Bangladesh recently.
After returning she has started to take part in shooting of Wajed Ali Sumon’s a movie titled Sweetheart. Besides this movie, from last Friday she has been taking part in shooting of Arif Khan’s directed new drama serial titled Dolchhut Projapoti under the story written by Faria Hossain.
Diti earlier gave schedules of the movie and drama serial. For this reason, she couldn’t stay in Canada for long time.
In movie Sweetheart, Diti is acting in role of mother of hero Bappi Chowdhury, while in the drama serial; she is also acting in role of Kolyan Koraiya.
Diti first acted in role of Bappi’s mother in Montazur Rahman Akbar’s movie Tobuo Bhalobashi. But she acted several times in role of Kolyan Koraiya’s mother in TV plays.
While sharing her feelings about acting in these two new works Diti told this correspondent, “Basically my love and affection to only film. For this reason, all kinds of attraction of mine are to the big screen. I am trying to act in TV plays sometimes. Earlier I had worked under the direction of Arif Khan. I think his new drama serial will be also a nice work. Therefore, I have liked the story of film Sweetheart. I am very much optimistic about these two works.”
The serial Dolchhut Projapoti is scheduled to be telecast on NTV from November 10.
On the other hand, on Thursday, Diti worked in G Sarkar’s movie Love 2014. She last made a telefilm titled Tumi Aamar Maa to cast Emu and Ishana on the occasion of Mother’s Day.
Now Diti’s acted Rulin Rahman directed drama serial Mayar Khela, Mainul Hasan Khokon’s Jibon-er Golpo and Sardar Rokon’s Chairman Bari are being aired on RTV, Asian TV and Boishakhi TV respectively. Within very short time, Diti’s acted and Idris Haidar directed a drama serial titled Palonko will go on air soon, she said.
