During her childhood popular singer Dithi Anwar has been attached with music. Her father noted lyricist of the country Gazi Mazharul Anwar also gave her inspiration in the field of music.
Recently Dithi’s fourth solo album titled Pora Chokh has been released under the banner of G-Series. After a 10-year break, her solo album has been released. Gazi Mazharul Anwar, Kabir Bakul, Someshwar Ali and Faisal Rabbekin wrote lyrics of the songs of the album, while Alauddin Ali, Shesh Sadi Khan, Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul, Shawkat Ali Emon, SI Tutul and Shafiq Tuhin composed its tunes and music.
While talking about her solo album Dithi told this correspondent, “After a decade my solo album has been released. In fact, I am very much excited in this regard. Basically this album is a blending of two generations. Specialty of this album there is no similarity among the songs. It means each song has exceptional taste and composition. I have already released music video of one of my songs of the album titled Din Jabe Kal Guney.”
Dithi Anwar started her music career through playback song of film Ulka in 1993. She has given her voice over 50 movies till now. Her several playback songs like Ekta Tajmohol banaiya of film Artonad became popular among the listeners.
