A meeting on exchange of views of the district law and order committee was held at Chittagong circuit house auditorium on Friday evening with Deputy commissioner of Chittagong Md. Shamsul Arefin in the chair.
Confidential secretary to the Prime Minister Sajjadul Hasan graced it as chief guest.
The chief guest reviewed the district law and order situation and expressed satisfaction over the situation.
Among others, District Police Super Md. Nure Alam Mina, Civil surgeon and the senior officials of Chittagong district administration were present in it, a sources said.
