Returning officers in Chittagong has started distribution of nomination papers to the aspirants of 10 Pourashava in Chittagong district from yesterday.
Voter list of the poura area is being supplied through CD cassette after depositing the govt fee of Tk.500 to the returning officer, sources said. The nomination papers will be collected from the candidates from today upto December 3 next. Election will be held in the pourashavas of Mirsarai, Baraiarhat, Sandwip, Banskhali, Chandanaish, Satkania, Patiya , Raozan, Rangunia and Sitakunda .
All upazila Nirbahi officers of the respective upazilas will act as Returning officer and the upazila Election officer as Asstt. Returning officers.
Respective returning officer will supply nomination papers to the intending candidates.
Election will be held on December 30 next, sources said.
