Water Aid Bangladesh and SIDA (Swedish International Development Agency) at the initiative of Saidpur Municipality and SKS Foundation distributed various hygiene items among the teenagers.
Water Aid Bangladesh and SIDA with its funding to implement different types of project activities including the project Provision of emergency hand washing service to help poor slum dwellers in Bangladesh to fight against Covid 19, hygiene items were distributed among 1200 poor teenagers of Saidpur Municipality on 8th May Thursday.
Each girl was given 8 bath soaps, 8 laundry soaps, 1 bottle of hand washing liquid, 2 kg detergent powder and 06 sanitary napkins. Honorable Mayor of Saidpur Municipality Rafika Akhter Jahan inaugurated the distribution program & various ward councilors and others were present on the occasion.
Nazrul Islam Tapadar, Project Coordinator of SKS Foundation briefed the audience about the various activities of SKS Foundation for the prevention of Covid 19.
