Parliament member (MP) of Khulna-2 constituency Sheikh Salahuddin Zwel here on Tuesday distributed foodstuff among 1,000 distressed and jobless people here today to mitigate their sufferings rendered by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The lawmaker distributed foodstuff including rice, pulse, salt, potato, and soap among the people on Shaheed Hadis Park and Batun Nur Mosque’s premises as part of the government’s instant humanitarian support.
Khulna City Corporation Mayor Talukder Abdul Khaleque, among others, was present during the distribution.
Later, the MP planted a sapling on Diabetic Hospital premises.
