A four-day series of discussions on ‘Broadcast colloquium: Recent thoughts’ ended at gallery room of the Heyat
Mamud Bhaban of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) on the campus on the 2nd instatnt.Vice-Chancellor (VC) of the university Professor Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah attended concluding ceremony of the event organised by the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism as the chief guest. Students of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism of the university participated in the four-day event and presented their thoughts about campus radio by delivering speeches.
Deans of different faculties, heads of different departments and senior teachers of the university also took part in the discussion on the concluding day.
Chief Executive Officer of Bangladesh NGOs Network for Radio and Communication’s AHM Bazlur Rahman participated as the main discussant in the event moderated by Assistant Professor of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism Tabiur Rahman. Taking part in the discussion, AHM Bazlur Rahman said the campus radio would not only raise the voice of the students and other stakeholders of the university alone, but also the voice of the people living around campus on the higher seat of education.
The chief guest appreciated the initiative of arranging the time-befitting event of discussions on ‘Broadcast colloquium: Recent thoughts’ for students of the university and declared that the campus radio would start functioning from this month.
