Ghasful, a mass-media house organized an open discussion on ‘Planned Urban System and Dhaka City’ at Conference Lounge of National Press Club.
Presided over by Prof. Nazrul Islam, prominent urban expert and chairman of urban centre, the program began with the self composed poem ‘Jati-ma Pahara dey’ by Poet Mohammad Nurul Huda. Engineer Iqbal Habib, Joint Secretary, Bangladesh Poribesh Andolon (BAPA) presented the keynote paper followed by welcome addressed by Novelist Ata Sarker.
On the subject ‘Joladhar khelar Mat Chai, Chai Odar Neel Akash’ the program was addressed, among others, by Dr. Hasan Mahmud, MP, Chairman, Standing Committee, The Ministry of Environment & Forests, Poet and Engineer Rabiul Hossain, Trusty, Liberation Museum, Advocate Monjil Morshed, Liakot Ali Bhuiyan, Vice President, Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB).
Jamaluddin, Special Correspondent, Daily Ittefaq coordinated the program. Mahmudul Hasan Rubel anchored the program.
