A discussion and cultural festival will be held today (Sunday) to mark the birthday of Language Veteran Lion Shamsul Huda and launching ceremony of the book titled “Shomoyer Aynai: Bhashasaynik Lion Shamsul Huda” at Bangladesh Shishu Kallyan Parishad Auditorium.
Sonagazi Upazila Chairman ZM Kamrul Anam will preside over the programme while Prime Minister’s Media Adviser and Daily Observer Editor Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury will be present as the chief guest.
Chairman of Islami Insurance Bangladesh Limited Tofazzel Hossain will be present there as the key-note speaker while Vice Chairman of Islami Insurance Bangladesh Limited Md Ismail Nawab will inaugurate the function.
Editor of Bangla Report 24.com Lion Shanta Farzana and Chief Editor of the portal Lion Momin Mehedi will moderate the function jointly while Language Researcher M R Mahbub, journalist Taraque Mahmud, Titon, Amir Hossain Joni and Manzur Hossain Isa will discuss the programme.
