Discussion on ‘Internship in Microsoft’ at BUET today

Young Bangla, the country’s largest platform for youths, under the auspices of Center for Research and Information (CRI) is set to stage a career talk on “Become a Microsoft Intern and Brand Ambassador” at civil engineering building’s seminar room of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology at 5pm today.
“As part of its ongoing internship campaign for the youths, Young Bangla has taken up the task in association with Phoenix Bangladesh Foundation to open up internship opportunity for university-level students at the world’s leading software company Microsoft,” a CRI spokesperson told.
Initially to be continued between March and April, as many as 50 students from Science and Technology Faculty, and Engineering and Business Administration disciplines will avail the opportunity while equal number of students are to be made Microsoft brand ambassador during the said time.
“Microsoft Bangladesh will select 25 students as their intern from this career talk in BUET (Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology) and other 25 will be selected from the online submission in this link: http:youngbangla.org/en/microsoft-intern,” according to facebook page of Young Bangla.
Brand Ambassadors will be selected from both online and offline participation (In Total 50).
“We will gradually reach all the universities in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Rangpur, Rajshahi and other major districts,” the webpage read.
Given the nature of the scheme, Microsoft, since May, has consented to allow 25 aspirants for internship alongside 25 will be made Brand Ambassador in every month.
Young Bangla has initiated internship opportunities for youths at three different ministries namely- Foreign Affairs, Power Energy and Mineral Resources and ICT Division.
