A drawing and essay competition for children and recitation from the poem were also held on the occasion.
A rich tributes paid to the martyrs of the Liberation War.
The function was addressed, among others, by the President of the organisation Krisnadas G.C Biswas Joy.
Prizes were distributed among the winners of the drawing and essay competition.
The participants also prayed for the salvation of the departed souls of the martyrs and for the peace and prosperity of the nation.
