Speakers on the International Literary and Cultural Conference discussed the life and works of Dr Dinesh Chandra Sen. Addressing the occasion held in Manikganj recently the speakers said the Bengali literature has rich collection and tradition. It was introduced to the world literature by some glorious sons of the soils and Dr. Dinesh Chandra Sen was one of them.
He proved that the Folk Bengali literature is comparable with the other leading literatures of the world.
Prof. Afsar Ahmed of Jahangirnagar University, Prof. Pabitra Sarker, former Vice- Chancellor of Rabindra Bharati, West Bengal in India, Arastu Khan, Chairman of Bangladesh Commerce Bank Ltd, Monjur Mohammad Shahriar, ADC (Gen) and Prof. Abul Islam Sikder, Principal of Govt. VM College, among others, spoke at the function.
Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor, MP, was present in the function as the chief guest.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rashida Ferdouse presided over the function.
